Partial white veil. Base largely bulbous, marginated and sometimes split.

No effect of chemicals on flesh, cap or stipe.
Comments 
The cap color of the Citron Amanita varies widely, ranging from greenish (a color that fades with age) or dark gray to white in the white variety. This is why it is described in three different places: 3.2 for specimens with greenish caps, 5.8 for the white variety and 7.3 for specimens with gray to brownish gray caps.
