Under conifers, birches and poplars.
Cap
Orange-yellow to reddish-orange, often darker in the center, adorned with white to yellowish velar flakes.
Margin
Not lined to weakly or slightly lined at maturity.
Gills
Whitish.
Stalk
White to pale yellow, fibrillous to scaly.
Stalk Feature
Partial white to pale yellow veil. Bulb attenuated upwards, decorated with small scales ± arranged in a circle and in a stepped manner at the top of the bulb .
Flesh
White.
Chemical reactions
No reaction to chemicals on the flesh, cap or stipe, except discoloration of the cap due to KOH or NaOH.
Comments 
Two people in Abitibi consumed it in all its forms without experiencing hallucinogenic or toxic effects. However, other people must be hospitalized after consuming it.
