Fruit body
Small amanita with a stocky profile whose lines on the cap margin are similar to those of a russula.
Cap
Beige to brownish yellow, often darker in the center, bare or adorned with white velar flakes.
Margin
Streaked or lined like a russula.
Gills
Creamy whitish with truncated short gills.
Stalk
White, glabrous to fibrillous, enlarged downward. Partial white veil. Bulb sometimes having a membranous rim.
Flesh
White, slightly yellowish under the cuticle.
Chemical reactions
No reaction with chemicals except phenol which partially stains the flesh and cap a purplish brown.
