Fruit body
Robust profile, large fruitbodies.
Cap
The cap of this amanita has a beige to reddish-brown, bald or adorned with white to gray velar flakes.
Margin
Even, not lined.
Gills
White sometimes staining with wine red.
Stalk
Equal or widened downward, whitish, slowly vinous red on crumpling or with age. Partial white veil staining with red wine with age. Round bulbous base, not marginated.
Flesh
White, very slowly wine red when cut and in insect bites.
Chemical reactions
No effect of chemicals on flesh, cap and stipe, except for phenol which stains brown or blackish-brown on flesh, cap and stipe.
Comments 
It is mentioned as edible, but it is better to abstain because it is said that if it is not well cooked, it can cause serious health problems.
