Well visible reticulations, brownish in the center of the stipe to brownish red in length.
Flesh
Pale yellow in the cap, darker in the stipe.
Chemical reactions
FLESH: strong reaction to KOH, NaOH and NH4OH; no reaction with FeSO4; towards yellow with phenol and formalin. Ditto for the cap and the stipe.
Comments 
MushroomExpert mentions that the Gray Bolete can take reddish hues. However the chemical tests do not correspond to the Gray Bolete, but to those of the Ornate-stalked Bolete.
