Fruit body

Chemical reactions
Discoloration of the cap under the effect of KOH and NaOH. Color change of cap and stipe due to FeSO4. No effect on the flesh.
Comments 
This amanita is characterized by its greenish yellow cap (more intense in color at a young age) and by its large bulb with an angular edged. There is a white variety described in 5.8 and a greyish cap variety described in 7.3. It fructifies throughout the summer and fall.
