Cap often almost pure yellow, sometimes more orange in the center, naked or with a few yellow velar flakes.

Plain, not lined (sometimes slightly lined with age).

Whitish to cream, often tinged with yellowish.
Stalk
White, equal or slightly attenuated upwards, fibrillous, hollow, often decorated with yellow velar remains.
Stalk Feature
Partial veil small, whitish to pale yellow. Slightly bulbous base, fusiform bulb attenuated upwards.
Flesh
White.
Chemical reactions
No reaction with chemicals, except for phenol which changes the color of the flesh, cap and stalk to black or purplish black.
