Sur bois mort de peupliers et de saules. Petites branches au sol.
Chapeau
Chapeaux brun grisâtre à noirâtre.
Marge du chapeau
Mince, entièrement à finement frangée, concolore à la surface du chapeau.
Tubes
Pores grands, très étirés et alignés du pied vers la marge.
Surface des tubes
Blanche, puis jaune à orangé pâle.
Pied
Pied centré à excentré, légèrement renflé à la base, blanchâtre, brun vers l’apex.
Chair
Blanche, mince.
