Spread and reflected, or not spread out with a fastener to the width. Zoned whitish, buff, pale brown; weakly furrowed. Radially streaked. Absent or bristling with short hairs

Thin, sharp, white in growth.
Hymenium surface
Rectangular pores, then labyrinthine, then lamella. Pale at first, blushing when crushed;
Flesh
Light brown, thick, unzoned.
Comments 
The ancient species Daedaleopsis septentrionalis has been fused with Daedaleopsis confragosa.
