Habitat
Abundant in the boreal forest under poplars and willows. Less present in forests further south.
Cap
Brown, circovolute, wrinkled, with thin flesh, deposited on the stipe, a thin link connecting them. Margin free, entirely separate from the stipe.
Stalk
White, then beige with age, attached to the cap by its apex only, stuffed inside.
Flesh
Thin, pale brown in color.
Comments 
Many pickers do not hesitate to eat this mushroom. However, it can cause the same intoxication as the False Morel, Gyromitra esculenta, although the gyromitrine level is much lower.
