Cap
Depressed in the center, finely velvety, radially striated with numerous concentric areas cinnamon, brown to reddish-brown.
Margin
Whitish to pale brownish in growth, later concolorous to cap
Pores and Pore Surface
Angular, large, conspicuous, 2 to 4 per mm, thin-walled. Reddish-brown, paler at margin, margin sterile.
Stalk
Centered, even, often enlarged at the base.
Stalk Feature
Finely velvety, rusty to reddish-brown.
Flesh
Thin, rusty to reddish-brown, concolor on the cap.
