White, becoming yellowish when crushed.

Caps and stipes often confluent and welded to each other.
Stalk Feature
Smooth to finely hairy stem, cream then yellowish to brownish.
Flesh
Fleshy, tender, white, tinged with brownish-yellow when cooked.
