Habitat
On grassy areas, at the edge of the woods, in parks, pastures, gardens, etc., in August or September.
Fruit body
Globular white fruitbidies resembling large breads, often in small groups.
Attachement of the fruit body
Consists of a central and short attachment with a small diameter.
Flesh
White and dense.
Unfit for human consumption
Fruitbodies should be picked while they are young and their flesh completely white; as soon as the flesh changes colour, they become unfit for consumption.

In the field, the fruitbodies mature very quickly; in a refrigerated room, we can hope to preserve their quality for three days.
