Pores and Pore Surface
Pore surface yellow at first, becoming grayish yellow and sometimes tinted dull reddish in age, staining dark olivaceous when bruised; pores circular, 2-3 per mm.
Nearly equal to tapered in either directions.
Yellow overhall or with reddish or brownish tinges especially near the base.
White to pale yellow, reddish under the pileipellis, bluing sometimes slowly when cut.
