Cap
Yellow brown over the disc, fading to dull tan on the margin, sometimes darker overall and aerolate in age.
Margin
Often with a narrow band of sterile tissue.

Adnate, depressed near the stalk.
Pores and Pore Surface
Pore surface creamy white at first, becoming pinkish at maturity, staining brown when bruised; pores circular to angular, often elongated radially, 2-3 per mm
Stalk
Tapered downward.
Stalk Feature
Stalk concolorous with the cap or paler, sometimes finely reticulate.
Flesh
White to pale yellow, becoming pale brown when cut.
