Cap
Surface dry, not viscous, pale pinkish purple to reddish purple.
Margin
Often appendiculate on immature fruitbodies.
Tubes
Short decurrent tubes with very large pores, angular and aligned radially towards the margin.
Pores and Pore Surface
Pale yellow, brownish yellow in age, immutable.
Stalk
Nearly equal, reticulate and yellow at the apex, pale purple to reddish purple below.
Stalk Feature
Partial veil that leaves few traces of itself when the cap is open.
Flesh
Yellowish, immutable, reddish under the pileipellis.
Basal Mycelium
Yellow.
