Short, adnate, always brown even young.
Pores and Pore Surface
Tubes and pore surface brown from a young age, a feature unique to this species. Pores circular to angular, 2 per mm.
Stalk
Equal to enlarging toward the base, of a pale color.
Stalk Feature
Densely covered with brown glandular dots.
Flesh
Pale yellow, sometimes turns slowly blue in places when cut.
Basal Mycelium
White.
