Pore surface whitish at first, pale yellow or brown in age, staining blue when bruised; pores circular when young, becoming angular at maturity, 1-2 mm wide at maturity.
Stalk
Equal to enlarged downward, concolorous with the cap.
Stalk Feature
Brownish, with darker longitudinal streaks, paler near the apex and at the base, with green tints near the apex.
Flesh
Whitish, staining blue or gray when cut, sometimes with reddish tints, sometimes blueing slightly above the tubes.
