Cap
Upright fruitbodies. Cap brown to orange-brown, finely cracked at maturity.
Margin
Even.
Tubes
Adnate, depressed near the stalk.
Pores and Pore Surface
Pore surface white, pinkish or pale brown at maturity, immutable; pores circular to angular, 1-2 per mm.
Stalk
Nearly equal or enlarged downward, concolorous with the cap or paler, whitish at the base, a little ribbed at maturity.
Flesh
White or pale pink, immutable.
Basal Mycelium
White.
