Under Hemlock and probably Beech Tree.
Cap
Yellow brown to cinnamon brown.
Margin
With a narrow band of sterile tissue.
Tubes
Very long, often depressed near the stalk.
Pores and Pore Surface
Pore surface yellow at first, becoming olive-yellow to brownish yellow in age, staining blue when bruised; pores circular, 1-3 per mm.
Stalk
Enlarged downward.
Stalk Feature
Pale yellow at the apex, pale yellow to whitish lower, sometimes tinged with ocher or reddish, non reticulate or only at the apex.
Flesh
Pale yellow, staining blue when cut, but sometimes not at all.
