Pores small, round to angular, 4 to 6 per mm, thick and whole walls at first, but lacerated with age.
Consisting of a central attachment, but sometimes the surface of the tubes descends or spreads out on the substrate.
Recognized for its excellent therapeutic properties. Fruitbodies often form dense, beautiful clumps.
