Cap
Adorned with many concentric zones of varied colors, finely velvety to tomentose. Small and numerous fruitbodies.
Tubes
Pores small, round to angular, 4 to 6 per mm, thick and whole walls at first, but lacerated with age.
Stalk
Consisting of a central attachment, but sometimes the surface of the tubes descends or spreads out on the substrate.
