Pore surface yellow, becoming tinged reddish-orange in age, blueing when bruised; pores circular, 1-2 per mm.
Stalk
Equal to tapered downward.
Stalk Feature
Yellow at first, developing reddish or reddish-brown streaks in age, not reticulate or only finely at the apex.
Flesh
Pale yellow, staining blue in the stipe and above the tubes when cut.
