Habitat Area
Small park in Shawinigan-Sud. Presence of several white birch trees in the park and mixed forest all around.
Two small fruiting bodies in the mossy part of the park.
Cap
Cap bluish gray, convex, smooth surface.
Margin
Reddish, this color becomes paler in older fruitbodies. The margin spread apart the tubes
Tubes
Adnate, yellow, depressed near the stipe, possibly immutable.
Pores and Pore Surface
Yellow, very irregular pores, large and elongated near the stipe.
Stalk
Slender, full, slightly widened at the base.
Yellow towards the apex, reddish towards the base.
Flesh
White to slightly yellowish, turning blue in places when cut.
Basal Mycelium
White.
