Mycotheca is a great success not only in the country, but also internationally. Sunday October 16, 793 people visited the Mycotheca; on weekdays, these visits are between 250 and 300 people per day. As shown, this traffic comes from all over the world, of all age levels, the distribution between women and men being respectively 46 and 54%.
This means that the Foundation bet right by starting this project to illustrate the biodiversity and distribution of mushrooms in Quebec and Eastern Canada. A great success, even if the number of species is currently limited (110). After six months of existence, this success is remarkable.
Thank you to all the amateur mycologists who invested in taking photos of the mushrooms in their region.
